Start Making Money Today

Friday, February 8th, 2008

As a blogger I feel that it is important for a person to not only write on his or her blog but also to maintain it as many bloggers start a blog and later abandons it because they had no goals to start a blog in the first place.

There must be a reason for you to start your own blog. My reason was to make sure that there is an information portal for questions and answers for all mothers alike. Mothers or parents are able to come here post your questions on anything parental and I will answer them according to my knowledge as a nutritionist on baby healthcare. Having a number of doctors specializing in children healthcare on my beck and call I think this is very achievable.

But how do you maintain your blog by giving so much of information and expecting nothing in return. Well there are many companies out there that will pay you to write a post or two and this is more than enough to pay your internet bills and even but you a new laptop in the end of the year. It is also enough to pay for your domain and hosting.

One the best pay to post that I have seen so far is Smorty.com where you are also able to advertise on blogs other than your own to get more attention to it. This would also be considered as a backlink and you are able to get higher PR’s for your blogs which in return would help you get paid higher for each and every post that you write which is a paid post.

As a blogger you should also advertise at the beginning to make sure that you get high coverage on your blog and your niche topic. Like this blog is the first blog I have seen that actually does Q&A on the spot. If you write me a comment with a question. I will answer. The best part is if you have your own blog I will allow you to put your link in the comment form and I will also answer your question in your own blog as a comment. This would benefit both the blogger and the advertiser.

Taking care of a tooth

Wednesday, January 30th, 2008

Q: My baby is 5 months old and she has 1 visible tooth. How do i care for this tooth? Can i use toothpaste?

A:

1.Wipe your baby’s gums daily with a clean, damp washcloth or gauze,

    or

2. Brush them gently with a soft, infant-sized toothbrush and water (no toothpaste!). As soon as the first tooth appears, brush them with water.

3. Toothpaste is OK to use on your child’s teeth once he or she gets old enough to spit it out – usually around age 3. Choose one with fluoride and use only a pea-sized amount or less in younger children. Don’t let your child swallow the toothpaste or eat it out of the tube because an overdose of fluoride can be harmful for children.

4.By the time all your baby’s teeth are in, it’s a good idea to brush your child’s teeth at least twice a day, and especially after meals.

5. Another important tip for preventing tooth decay: don’t let your baby fall asleep with a bottle. The milk or juice can pool in her mouth and cause tooth decay and plaque.

*The American Dental Association recommends that children see a dentist by age 1, when six to eight teeth are in place, to spot any potential problems and advise parents about preventive care.
